Ellis Wang is currently CEO of E-JiaoYi Inc (EJY), starting from Apr 2017. EJY is a new online to offline trading platform that integrates non-standard asset transactions with industry leading bidding technology. The service platform provides both the ecological flow distribution and offline service to intermediaries, enterprises and individuals’ transactions with one-stop, all- around and comprehensive service by its capabilities of high-tech media manifestation and big data precision marketing. EJY has been created over 30 Billion RMB revenues within 12 months since its startup, and it is also a new startup model that a hi-tech Corp. to work close with China government to target in state-owned property selling to make successes.
Before EJY, from Aug 2014 to Jan 2017, Ellis worked as Senior Director of Product Marketing at Alibaba e-Commerce group, leading Big Data projects for new retail business. He was one of the founding members of New O2O, and has participated in the conceptualization of new retail functions, business partnership with offline stores like Intime. Ellis is knowledgeable about the concept and purpose of new retail, and can discuss how big data and AI are used together to promote new retail, and how new retail concepts are currently applied to different business scenes so as to connect online shopping and offline shopping. Prior to Alibaba, he was a senior developer at Google for Android systems.
Mr. Wang has been an executive officer with over 20 years’ experience and a strong background in PC, mobile commerce, ads marketing and on-line payments, and both startup and Fortune 500 companies, he was a co- founder of Asus EeePC, and technical market lead for Intel Asia Pacific.
